Noteworthy Accomplishments
I was a President Scholar at HSU, an honor student at each college I attended, and a nominee for the Patricia O. McConkey Outstanding Thesis/Project Award. Aside from a couple of gratuitous collegiate publications, the main focus of my energy has been quality education. I have been a Chairperson at two Asilomar English conferences: "Teaching Islam in the English Classroom" and "Teaching English at the two-year College." I spent ten years traveling the world before college, and I am consistently attempting to integrate my experiences and expertise into a cognitive-based, no-nonsense, yet rousing pedagogy.
